JUA Fall Contract Field Clinics

New members must attend all clinics.

Members with 1 year must attend at least 2 clinics including the clinic on 8/17.

All other members must attend the 8/17 meeting is you wish to work games in the Fall.

As always, any contract member can attend any of the clinics.

Saturday August 16 JUA Field Clinic @ 9:30-12:30 Skinner-Baker

Sunday August 17 JUA Field Clinic @ 1:00-4:00 Landmark Middle

Attendance: Each member is expected to attend

At least 2 of the field clinics. At least 2 of the 4 rules sessions. Complete the FHSAA Video

JUA Spring Contract Field Clinics

Field training clinics on Sundays at the TBD Field
 The clinics will be held "Rain or Shine"

January 25th (1:00-4:15), February 1st (12:30-3:15),

12:45 - 4:15 February 8th, 15th, 22nd and March 1st (if required for rainout March 8th)

The Feb 15th clinic is also the JUA membership meeting at Landmark MS. Students and Instructors are excused from the meeting

 

 

Weather Information

Listed below is the procedure that JUA umpires follow in case of bad weather.

1) Commissioner's confer early in the morning
2) If a decision is made to alter games (delay or postpone) we will ..........
3) Host Associations will be called and informed of the decision
4) Your commissioner will inform .......

Please keep in mind that some games may be postponed or delayed while others may play on schedule. 

All of this will take place a minimum of one (1) hour prior to the start of the first scheduled game of the day. IF THERE ARE NO NOTIFICATIONS ALL GAMES WILL PLAY AS SCHEDULED. It is our recommendation that you plan extra travel time so that you can make it to your field on time and ready to play.
